Professional Biography
I am a community-based social worker focused on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) education within diverse communities and stakeholders. I am experienced in non-profit capacity building, development, and strategic planning. In addition to teaching with GSSW, I work as a full-time consultant, building capacity and driving social change across the non-profit, philanthropic, public, and private sectors focused on JEDI initiatives and strategic planning. I come to all of this work with a background in basic and emergency services, positive youth development, community organizing, and policy advocacy. At GSSW, I teach courses on power/privilege/oppression and practice with LGBTQIA communities and individuals.
