Professional Biography

Jarrod Call has a BS in Exercise Science and an MSW from Brigham Young University. After completing his MSW program, he worked as an ER crisis worker and a substance abuse counselor, focusing on residential care for high risk men with extensive histories of homelessness and incarceration. His research interests include sexuality, gender, and help seeking behaviors. He has published and presented his research on masculinities and help seeking behaviors at a number of national conferences and looks forward to developing and applying his research skills to support sexual minorities and encourage healthy perceptions of gender.
