Professional Biography

Jennifer Pearson is an animal-assisted social worker, applied animal behaviorist and dog trainer who attended the University of Edinburgh's College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine as well as the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers. A faculty member on the Institute for Human-Animal Connection's animals and human health professional development program since 2008, she's also a therapy dog and Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

As the head trainer at Front Range K9 Academy in Wheat Ridge, Colo., she works with dogs and their owners in obedience, behavior rehabilitation, competition and therapy and service dog preparation.
