Pilar has a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, and an MSW from the University of Michigan where she was an Integrated Health Scholar. Most recently, Pilar has worked as a research assistant at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She has worked on various research projects in implementation science and shared decision making in cardiology, hospice, and palliative care. Pilar’s research interests include addressing health care disparities, care for patients with chronic and terminal illnesses, and organizational practice and policies in the health care system. Pilar uses she/her/hers pronouns.
