Senior Research Associate
Ann first became interested in working collaboratively with service providers while serving with AmeriCorps. This led her to pursue a master’s degree in sociology, where she learned how to use data to help programs deliver the best possible services.
Ann’s work at the Butler Institute combines her interests in research and real-world practice. She leads research and evaluation studies about program implementation and outcomes, primarily in the areas of early childhood education and child welfare. Ann is also further honing her research skills as a PhD student.
When she is not working or in class, Ann likes to jog, work on home improvement projects for her 1920s bungalow, and spend time with her husband and cats (Oscar and Max).
