Professional Biography

Ann Wacker has more than 10 years of experience in social sciences research and program evaluation. Currently, she leads studies in early care and education with a focus on equitable access to quality child care. Ann is passionate about gathering and synthesizing data from a variety of sources and sharing findings with stakeholders in creative and engaging ways. Whether conducting high-level statistical analyses, doing in-depth interviews with families, or working collaboratively with clients, Ann’s goal is to support programs by providing new insights and actionable recommendations. Ann is a PhD candidate in research methods and statistics at the University of Denver. When she is not working or in class, she loves to spend time with her husband, young daughter, and two cats.
