Anthony initially became interested in evaluation when he was a case manager at an outpatient substance abuse treatment center in Phoenix, Arizona. A growing interest in the meaningful use of data in public service agencies led him to an MSW at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in Saint Louis, with a research specialization. After a move to Denver and four years working at a local evaluation firm, Anthony joined the Butler Institute in fall 2017.
Anthony is passionate about the use of data in evaluating programming for agencies that help families and communities in need. He enjoys working with partner organizations to help them ask meaningful questions, eliminate complexity and turn that analysis into a positive impact for the people and communities they work with.
When not working, Anthony enjoys staying active outdoors, making things with his hands and spending time with his wife and son.
