Professional Biography

Sophia wishes to direct her research and digital storytelling skills toward building a more equitable, connected and sustainable global community. She is sharpening her abilities in culturally and trauma-informed research and evaluation at The Capacity Building Center for Tribes. Additionally, she is pursuing her masters in global environmental sustainability with an emphasis in digital storytelling and film at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. She hopes to continue ethical research and storytelling with underrepresented local and global communities. When she is away from work and studies, she enjoys spending time outdoors in her home state of Colorado, traveling, cooking with friends or making pottery.
