Social work has a vital role to play in helping people adapt to the crisis and in mitigating climate change through shifts to clean energy and a "just transition" away from fossil fuels. This systematic review examines social work research on energy-related issues and identifies ways forward to the profession to engage urgently in climate change mitigation.
