Fatherhood FIRE Evaluation
The primary aim of this study is to develop, pilot test, and evaluate the Nurturing Dads and Partners Program within the Colorado Fatherhood Project.
The local evaluation will use a mixed-methods design to evaluate both implementation and program outcomes (impact). The evaluation will include participatory, inclusive, and collaborative practices, such as engaging project partners and stakeholders in evaluation design and implementation.
The three key goals of the Colorado Fatherhood Project (CFP) evaluation are: 1) to inform the adaptation and implementation of an integrated Dads Matter-Nurturing Fathers program, 2) to explore implementation challenges and facilitators associated with the unique structure of this project that will support programming at seven distinct sites, and 3) to examine the impact of the suite of fatherhood services provided through the CFP.
