Resources by MSW Program

The following resources are specific to your MSW program. Find information about program-specific health and counseling resources and resource guides.

  • Denver Campus MSW Program

    SOS (Student Outreach and Support): Helps students succeed by connecting them to resources, developing a plan of action to meet their goals, and navigating challenging situations. Staff, faculty and students can submit a referral or reach out directly for connection.

    If you or someone you know needs help in dealing with a suicidal crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

    CAPE (Center for Advocacy, Prevention, Empowerment): Supporting survivors of sexual violence and promoting healthy relationships.

    Health and Counseling Center: The University Health and Counseling Center provides exceptional, inclusive, integrated health care. The center promotes student success and wellness through education, advocacy and outreach to the University of Denver community.

     

    Professional Psychology Clinic: The Professional Psychology Clinic is the training center for the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. The clinic has provided low-cost, high-quality psychological services to Denver's community for over 30 years.

    • Fees for services are on a sliding scale and are based on income and financial circumstances.

     

    Health Insurance Plan: The University of Denver offers a comprehensive Student Insurance Plan underwritten by United Healthcare Student Resources. This plan is designed specifically for students attending a campus-based program at the University of Denver and is only available to enrolled, active students.

  • Four Corners MSW Program

    Distance Learners can explore potential DU resources via the DUHelp page.

    Counseling: Students have access to six counseling sessions (paid for by DU) with one of the following providers:

    Financial: The GSSW Student Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to currently enrolled Four Corners MSW, MSW@Denver, and Western Colorado students who are experiencing unexpected, temporary hardships, resulting from emergency or crisis situations.

  • Western Colorado MSW Program

    Distance Learners can explore potential DU resources via the DUHelp page.

    Emergency Procedures: Please refer to the Colorado Mountain College Emergency Procedures.

    Counseling: Students have access to six free sessions with a credentialed counselor via Triad.

    Health & Counseling: Uwill is a leading mental health and wellness solution that provides students with the ability to connect immediately (or on their preferred timeline) with licensed mental health counselors based on their unique needs and preferences. To get started, visit the Uwill portal, create an account with your DU email, and connect with a clinician.
