Health & Wellness Resources

SOS (Student Outreach and Support): Helps students succeed by connecting them to resources, developing a plan of action to meet their goals, and navigating challenging situations. Staff, faculty and students can submit a referral or reach out directly for connection.

CAPE (Center for Advocacy, Prevention, Empowerment): Supporting survivors of sexual violence and promoting healthy relationships.

Leave of Absence: At certain times in graduate school, a student may need to take a pause in their program. Resources by MSW Program

The following resources are specific to your MSW program. Find information about program-specific health and counseling resources and resource guides.

  • Denver Campus MSW Program

    Resource Guide: DU Student Outreach and Support provides a comprehensive list of DU resources and Denver metro area resources for housing support, financial assistance, food insecurity, transportation, technology and physical and mental health needs.     Financial: The GSSW Student Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to currently enrolled Denver Campus MSW students who are experiencing unexpected, temporary hardships, resulting from emergency or crisis situations. 

    Health and Counseling Center: The University Health and Counseling Center provides exceptional, inclusive, integrated health care. The center promotes student success and wellness through education, advocacy and outreach to the University of Denver community.

     

    Professional Psychology Clinic: The Professional Psychology Clinic is the training center for the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. The clinic has provided low-cost, high-quality psychological services to Denver's community for over 30 years.

    • Fees for services are on a sliding scale and are based on income and financial circumstances.

     

    Health Insurance Plan: The University of Denver offers a comprehensive Student Insurance Plan underwritten by United Healthcare Student Resources. This plan is designed specifically for students attending a campus-based program at the University of Denver and is only available to enrolled, active students.

  • Four Corners MSW Program

    Counseling: Students have access to six counseling sessions (paid for by DU) with one of the following providers:

  • Western Colorado MSW Program

    Emergency Procedures: Please refer to the Colorado Mountain College Emergency Procedures.

    Counseling: Students have access to six free sessions with a credentialed counselor via Triad.

    Health & Counseling: Uwill is a leading mental health and wellness solution that provides students with the ability to connect immediately (or on their preferred timeline) with licensed mental health counselors based on their unique needs and preferences.
