Denver Campus Field Internship Placement Process & Resources

Denver Campus Field Office Contact Information —

The Denver Campus field placement process is outlined in detail in the Field Manual. Check out the Student Field Placement Process - Denver Campus section to review step by step instructions from attending a Field Information Session to attending a Field Liaison Meet and Greet at the beginning of the placement.

  • Experiential Learning Cloud: Denver Campus

Experiential Learning Cloud is the field database utilized by all GSSW programs. Incoming Denver Campus students gain access to the field database prior to attending field advising.

    • The field team sends students an invitation to register for the GSSW field database, ELC.
    • The field team sends students an email with a video tutorial explaining how to complete the Site Placement Process which includes completing a Field Confirmation Form, connecting to the agency, and connecting to agency supervisor(s).
    • Once students complete the Site Placement Process, they will have access to track internship time and complete field assignments in ELC for the remainder of the field placement.
      • See videos about how to search for placements and confirm placements in ELC by student year below.
  • POE Approval Process: Denver Campus

POE proposals must be submitted six weeks prior to your scheduled placement start date. Students who turn in proposals after that time may not start their internships on time.

Start the steps as soon as possible, as the process can take several weeks. Communicate early and often with your supervisors and field advisor to make sure the process is on track. You will not begin accruing internship hours until all steps below have been completed.
