What I do
I provide direct clinical work and clinical supervision to Division of Youth Services secure residential treatment facilities. I also provide consultation and training focused on juvenile delinquency, and more specifically juveniles who have engaged in sexually abusive behavior. I have also been increasingly serving as an expert witness. My testimony has focused on juvenile and emerging adult brain science and psychosocial development.Professional Biography
I have 34 years in clinical and administrative positions in the Colorado Division of Youth Services (DYS). Since retiring from DYS, I have a private practice primarily focused on consultation, training, and clinical services. I have served on international and state Boards focused on policy and practice with adults and juveniles who engage in sexually abusive behavior.
