Professional Biography
Jana Edwards, MSW, LCSW, BCD, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in private practice in Denver, Colorado, for 42 years, specializing in couple treatment. Her practice currently focuses on providing workshops and ongoing consultation for therapists who want to learn the method of couple treatment she developed—Neurodynamic Couples Therapy. In addition, she is an author who distributes a monthly blog about couple therapy to networks of approximately 5,000 therapists worldwide. Her book, entitled Why Are You Driving Me Crazy? How the Dramas of Marriage Can Change You for Good (Langdon Street Press), was released in 2016.
Ms. Edwards is a member of the newly formed Dean’s Circle at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and the chair of the Conference Committee for the American Board of Clinical Social Work. She has delivered presentations for many organizations, including the Colorado Society for Clinical Social Work, the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, the National Clinical Social Work Federation, The International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, the Colorado Mental Health Professionals Conference, and the American Board of Clinical Social Work. Her writing has appeared in the Clinical Social Work Journal, Psychology Today, Psychotherapy Networker, and Psychoanalysis, Self and Context. She has been recognized as a Master Scholar by the DU Graduate School of Social Work and twice named Most Distinguished Clinician by the Colorado Society for Clinical Social Work.
