What I do
I teach Clinical Social Work and practice Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, with a focus on helping men move beyond patterns of overwork, addiction and disconnection toward more grounded, embodied lives. I'm passionate about developing clinicians who understand that a mindful relationship with the body is essential for meaningful connection and lasting change.Professional Biography
Patrick Weeg, LCSW, is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Denver, Colorado specializing in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. He has been in the private practice of psychotherapy since 2011 and previously owned and operated a group practice for 9 years.
Patrick has extensive experience providing psychotherapy to adults, children, families, couples and groups, with a particular focus on trauma, embodiment and relational healing. He facilitates men's groups and has led family weekends at substance use treatment centers, supporting those recovering from addiction and codependency.
In addition to clinical Work, Patrick has taught both nationally and internationally as a trainer with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. His teaching emphasizes developing a mindful relationship with the body as a foundation for connection, resilience and meaningful change.
