What I do
I am passionate about helping students and graduates achieve their career goals and aspirations. I am responsible for career development initiatives and career advising for MSW graduate students through the Graduate School of Social Work. I build connections with community partners and employers to increase networking and post-graduate employment opportunities.
Professional Biography
Stacy Said is the Sr. Advisor for Career and Student Engagement Services for the Graduate School of Social Work. Prior to joining GSSW in 2019 she was a Career Advisor at the Art Institute of Colorado, Associate Director of Student Services at Keiser University, Assistant Director of Housing at Ball State University and Complex Director at the University of North Dakota.
Throughout her career in higher education, she has served students within housing and residence life, student services, student leadership development, and most recently career services and employer relations.
Stacy received her Master of Social Work from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in Oshkosh, WI. While in school, her social work focuses of practice involved working with children who had experienced trauma and prevention of child abuse through a strength-based family model.
