Stephanie Chassman has a BA in Economics from Connecticut College and an MSW from the University of Southern California. Since obtaining her MSW, Chassman has worked as a research assistant in Los Angeles on Skid Row with individuals who are considered high risk to contract HIV and, more recently, she has worked with individuals who suffer from chronic homelessness as well as severe mental illness. She has also written two grants yielding over $10,000 for research that tests the long term impact of mentorship for individuals who suffer from depression. Chassman is interested in working with adults who are homeless in order to reduce stigma and discrimination.
