Professional Biography

As an undergraduate student, Alex was inspired by her professors to learn about social science research methods and quickly discovered her passion for designing studies, conducting research and analyzing data. Alex worked as a research assistant and later as an assistant lab manager of an interdisciplinary psychology and education research lab on campus. Through running studies with elementary school students, Alex developed a love for contributing to research aimed at improving child-focused systems. At Butler, Alex works on child welfare projects, supporting the evaluation team's efforts. Outside of work, Alex enjoys exploring Colorado, watching live music and being the cool aunt to her niece.
