Professional Biography
Christa Doty, MSW, LCSW, CPCC, CNCT, PCC, AACT, QA, is a senior program associate at Butler. In her role, she provides coaching, training and technical assistance at both the individual and systems levels. She has extensive experience as a child welfare caseworker and supervisor, specializing in strengths-based, family-centered practice; safety and risk assessment controls and protocols; solution-focused techniques; and multi-systemic therapy.
She has successfully trained and coached trainers, caseworkers, supervisors and managers in Florida, New York and Colorado on topics ranging from systemwide practice shifts to integrating coaching techniques into practice with families and leadership styles. Christa is experienced in providing child protection intake and ongoing caseworker services and previously supervised an intensive in-home therapy team.
Ms. Doty received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver. She completed her coach training through the Coaching Training Institute, known internationally as a pioneer in the coaching field, where she received her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and her Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. She is also a Certified NeuroTransformational Coach (CNTC) through BeAbove Leadership and has an Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching (AACT) from the Team Coaching Global Alliance. She has been an Intercultural Developmental Inventory Qualified Administrator (QA) since 2019 and has conducted over 100 individual and group debriefs focused on developing intercultural competence.
