Professional Biography
Graham is a Research Associate at the Butler Institute for Families and a PhD student in Research Methods and Statistics at the Morgridge College of Education. Originally from Zambia, Graham began his academic journey with a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies before pursuing an MSW at Washington University in St. Louis, where they focused on international economic development and research. Before joining the Butler Institute, he worked with the Missouri Department of Corrections. He later began doctoral studies in global social work at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he obtained an ABD before transitioning to applied research. Graham's work at the Butler Institute centers on applying advanced statistical techniques to evaluate behavioural health interventions, treatment completion, and program outcomes. Graham is especially passionate about leveraging data to support evidence-based solutions that promote equity, health access, and system-level change in communities affected by trauma and substance use.
