Professional Biography

Kaylee is originally from New York City but has lived most of her life in Denver, CO. She received her BA in both integrative physiology and ethnic studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and went on to receive her MPH from the Colorado School of Public Health at Anschutz. Her interest in research and evaluation began during her undergraduate career after she conducted her honors thesis on racial and ethnic microaggressions and their effects on the mental health of CU Boulder Latinx students. Her interest continued to grow throughout her master’s degree work when she had the honor to work with the Adelante Network on a qualitative study to improve services for Latinx Spanish-speaking families in Jefferson County. 

 

Kaylee is passionate about utilizing research tools and methods to support community stories and lived experiences. She enjoys working in partnership with others to bring clarity around data and eventually help translate research into practice. When not working, she enjoys running, reading, discovering new places to eat, and spending time with her partner and their dog.
