Professional Biography

Tracy E. Moran Vozar, Ph.D., PMH-C, IMH-E® (IV-R), is the Interim Executive Director of Butler and a Visiting Research Professor in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. A licensed clinical psychologist (Colorado, Illinois and PsyPACT), Tracy earned her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Iowa and completed predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowship training in perinatal, infant and early childhood mental health at Tulane University School of Medicine.

Over the past two decades, Tracy has built and led perinatal and early childhood behavioral health programs across academic medical centers and universities, including Erikson Institute's Department of Infant Studies, the University of Denver's Caring for yoU and Baby (CUB) Clinic, Children's National Hospital's DC Mother Baby Wellness Program and Endeavor Health, where she most recently directed the Perinatal Wellness Program and served as Division Head of Clinical and Health Psychology.

At the heart of Tracy's work is a commitment to workforce development and adapting evidence-based programs to make them more accessible and culturally attuned to the families who need them. She has collaborated on federally and foundation-funded initiatives training clinicians and paraprofessionals in infant and early childhood mental health, perinatal mental health and substance use and trauma-informed care. She has also lent her evaluation expertise to early childhood mental health task forces, perinatal mental health programming in maternal-fetal medicine and NICU settings, child welfare systems and juvenile justice programs, while mentoring dozens of graduate and postdoctoral trainees along the way.

An IMH-E® Level IV Research Mentor and Perinatal Mental Health Certified clinician, Tracy brings deep expertise in parenting and early childhood, behavioral health and child welfare to Butler's mission of strengthening the workforce and systems that serve vulnerable children and families.

Outside of work, Tracy is mom to four amazing kids ages 8 to 24. She and her family love spending time with friends in Denver, traveling back to their home-away-from-home cities of Chicago and New Orleans, and geeking out together over their favorite pop culture fandoms, everything Disney, Sony/PlayStation, British cozy mysteries and reality TV.
