Policy Development and Analysis

This course explores the development and analysis of social welfare policy, including the structure of the policy-making and implementation process and of social problems. Analyze a specific social problem and policy directed toward it, identify needed change in policy, select place and strategy for change in policy, and communicate knowledge to central actors in the policy-making and implementation process.
