The Impact of a Forensic Collaborative for Older Adults on Criminal Justice and Victim Outcomes: A Randomized-Control Longitudinal Design
Examine the effectiveness of the Denver Forensic Collaborative, which responds to issues of elder abuse, neglect and exploitation.
This project, funded by the National Institute of Justice, uses victim-focused interviews, collateral surveys and administrative data in a randomized control trial to compare how effective the Denver Forensic Collaborative is versus usual care when responding to elder abuse, neglect and exploitation. Outcomes of interest include criminal justice, health and safety outcomes for the older adults.
