Restorative Justice Policy Innovations
The purpose of this project is to track and log the adoption of restorative justice legislation across the American states and to observe the impact of statutory changes.
The goal of this ongoing statutory analysis is to track the adoption of restorative justice legislation at the state level and to provide public access to a searchable database of restorative justice statutes. Student researchers maintain the database by conducting systemic review of statutory databases on a quarterly basis. Subsequent research includes documenting the implementation and impact of policy innovations at the state level using case study methods which synthesize key informant interviews, surveys and system-level indicators.
