Validating and Evaluating an Artificial-Intelligence-Enabled Depression and Anxiety Screening Tool for Adolescents

This study's research aim is to validate Ellipsis Health’s adolescent screening tool for anxiety and depression using voice data captured through the Rising Higher app.
The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work is partnering with Ellipsis Health to explore innovative methods for mental health screening and monitoring. This study is looking at use of voice data and artificial intelligence technology to screen for adolescent depression and anxiety using an app and mobile devices. For our validation study, adolescents ages 11-17 (Grades 6-12) who speak proficient English will be recruited from Aurora Mental Health & Recovery and Aurora Public Middle and High Schools to participate in this research study.
