Professional Biography

Elizabeth O’Hara is a seasoned marketing professional with nearly 15 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW). In her role, she leads marketing efforts, including content strategy, website maintenance, and user experience. Elizabeth’s background in agency work with higher education clients has given her a unique perspective that she brings to her work at DU.

At GSSW, Elizabeth has spearheaded numerous initiatives, such as integrating digital systems like Salesforce, Drupal, and Ocelot to create personalized user experiences. Elizabeth has played a significant role in recruitment, using digital tools to drive engagement and growth for GSSW’s graduate programs. She is also passionate about data-driven decision-making and has implemented SEO strategies, content development, and user testing to continuously improve GSSW’s digital presence.

A strong collaborator, Elizabeth works across campus to strengthen GSSW's brand within the DU ecosystem. She believes in mentorship and has built a team-oriented approach to leadership, while also fostering effective relationships with vendors to ensure accountability and success.
