The combined strengths of the MSW and the MLS degrees can best prepare graduates to be effective practitioners in social policy and/or affect change at all levels of community and government. This dual degree will prepare students whose interests and areas of current and potential employment would be enriched by the study of law, the legal system, and legal reasoning.
