Professional Biography
Michael is passionate about social justice and discovering new information about the world. After working in direct service in nonprofits and community organizing, Michael acquired his Master of Social Work from the University of Denver, and he continues to learn and educate through evaluation.
At the Butler Institute, Michael collects and analyzes data, writes reports and maintains relationships with community partners. Michael enjoys sharing knowledge with others to help improve services to the community.
Michael is from the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina and likes exploring the outdoors here in Colorado. When he’s not at work, Michael spends his time hiking, caring for his houseplants and staying connected with family and friends.
