Colorado Shines Brighter
Goal: This grant’s aim is to analyze the current landscape of Colorado’s early childhood education mixed delivery system and implement changes to the system that maximize the availability of high-quality early childhood care and education options for low-income and disadvantaged families across providers and partners.
The Colorado Shines is a part of the $5.8 million initial Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five (PDG B-5) that was awarded to Colorado. For this grant we work with our state partners to support the development of an evaluation plan and accompanying tools for maximizing parental choice and knowledge, sharing best practices, and improving overall quality of the grant so that a robust evaluation is in place.
