What I do
Choosing social work is choosing to challenge both yourself and the status quo. I look forward to joining students in their journey of self awareness, addressing inequalities and becoming better equipped to challenge for social justice.

Prior to joining GSSW in January 2018, Bharwani served as the director of field education for seven years at another university, where she built their MSW field education program, developing all field education policies, processes and programming. Passionate about both tennis and developing leadership skills, she has provided trainings to agency supervisors working with interns on communication, feedback and effective supervision.
She is dedicated to advocating for social justice issues and creating an inclusive environment within GSSW.
