We are grateful for Bridge Project volunteers and tutors, who have dedicated thousands of hours in support of Denver youth. You have made an incredible impact on the lives of many, and the organization could not run without your willingness to serve. As discussed in our homepage announcement, the Bridge Project is pivoting operations. Please reference the FAQ below for more information about next steps for tutors and volunteers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I continue tutoring my student?
The Bridge Project will continue virtual one-on-one tutoring throughout the 2020–21 academic year. Director Phuong Phan will contact previous tutors in August 2020 about returning in the fall.
What will happen with current programming?
Academic tutoring, TECH Team and other high school programming will continue virtually in the 2020–21 academic year, led by long-time Bridge Project employee Phuong Phan, MSW interns and volunteers.
Can I volunteer to help with summer 2020 programming?
We will continue to provide virtual summer programming starting June 22, 2020. Bridge Project students are also eligible to join virtual programming at Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, and we are actively making referrals. If you are interested in tutoring this summer, please email Phuong Phan.
Is The Bridge Project accepting new volunteers?
We are not accepting new volunteers at this time.
