Goal: Improve Kentucky’s human services training system by analyzing it with the Training System Assessment Tool and providing curriculum development training

Effective training systems lead to better prepared staff who can achieve better outcomes. Using the Training System Assessment Tool developed at the Butler Institute, project staff are assessing the human services training system in multiple domains by identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement. We also will conduct a skills-based workshop to train staff in the art and science of curriculum development.
