Goal: Grow and support strong healthcare and human services workforce in the Mat-Su Borough. 

The Mat-Su Health Foundation (MSHF) scholarship program aims to grow and support a robust healthcare and human services workforce in the Mat-Su Borough. MSHF offers financial and strategic support to well-managed 501(c)(3) organizations that offer services and practical solutions to significant health-related problems impacting the citizens of the Mat-Su Borough. MSHF concentrates on five main focus areas: Healthy Aging, Healthy Families, Healthy Minds, Healthy Foundation and Healthy Futures.

Academic scholarships are awarded to students pursuing degrees in health and human services at accredited colleges and universities. The vocational scholarship program is available to help pay for training in areas such as medical office professions, addictions counseling, certified nurse assistant (CNA), and other certificate programs that do not result in a college degree but still fill a vital need in the health care community.
