Goal: To provide a pilot training on chronic neglect.

The Butler team will develop a pilot training on chronic neglect for Oregon child welfare and child protective staff in order to improve outcomes for children and families. An abridged version will be presented to Oregon child welfare consultants to improve their ability to provide individual and group coaching for staff.  The training involves independent pre-work, a one-day classroom experience, and learning circles.
