Mission Possible’s Youth & Family TREE Project

Mission possible is a program in the Pikes Peak region supporting families of youth involved in the juvenile justice system. The Butler Institute for Families is collaborating with Mission Possible to support their implementation of Central Colorado TREE: Treatment and Recovery Enhancement and Expansion (Youth & Family TREE), a project funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Substance Abuse Treatment, by providing technical assistance, program evaluation, and data collection support.

Project goals include:

  • Expand high-fidelity wraparound and care coordination to youth, including transition-age youth up to age 25
  • Enhance treatment and recovery services for youth ages 12-25 with substance use disorder by providing youth and family peer support to increase engagement in services and support recovery.
  • Increase access to an array of evidence-based and promising treatment and recovery services that are data-driven, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.
