For the incoming Fall 2026 classes, submit your $300 deposit by April 15, 2026 of receiving your decision letter to hold your spot in the Four Corners Advanced-Standing MSW Program.
The deposit is non-refundable, but the full amount will be credited to your first tuition payment.
Accept Offer of Admission:To accept our offer of admission, visit your application status page. There, scroll to the “Forms” section and click the “Reply to Admission Offer” link to select “I ACCEPT your admission offer.”
Submit your Tuition Deposit:Once you have accepted your offer, you will have the opportunity to pay your tuition deposit by clicking the “Enrollment Deposit—Submit Payment” link that appears on your application status page. This link will take you to a webpage where you can pay your deposit with a credit card.
To apply for state or federal financial assistance, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form as soon as possible. This application is required to determine eligibility for grants, loans and student employment.

Indian Health Service Scholarship: Native American students must agree to fulfill a service commitment in full-time clinical practice upon completion of their training.
John and Sophie Ottens Foundation Scholarship: If you are a Native American student in a Southwest tribe, you may qualify for a scholarship. Reach out to Four Corners GSSW faculty if interested.

Title IV-E Child Welfare Stipend
In partnership with the Butler Institute for Families and the Colorado Department of Human Services, we offer 20 child welfare stipends ranging from $12,000 -$14,000 so you can effectively serve families who use public child welfare services.
Eligibility: Four Corners MSW students with a Colorado residence and an internship in a Colorado public child welfare (county) agency
You will receive an invitation for the informal orientation before the fall 2026 courses begin.
Start your first term!
Four corners classes start Friday, September 11, 2026. You will meet with Four Corners faculty and staff during your first quarter to plan out your future academic terms.
Search by the subject "social work" and use attribute: "Social Work: Durango" to see only your program's classes. Durango classes will always be in the 200 sections. You will not be able to register for other MSW program's classes, as we place program restrictions on all our classes.

They must be sent directly from the school to be considered official.

Field Education
With field internships, you can begin practicing your social work skills right away. With more than 80 GSSW field agencies available in the Four Corners area—from hospitals and hospices to child welfare agencies, policy nonprofits and animal sanctuaries—you’ll find an internship that fits your specific needs and interests.

New Student Orientation
Required for all incoming Four Corners MSW students, orientation will introduce community resources, expectations and opportunities as you begin your journey at GSSW. (Note: The date of the first day of classes may differ from DU's academic calendar.) All dates are subject to change.
